In the theme of the Gathering, we have arranged for Green Line Medical to attend to provide full medical cover from first aiders upto paramedics, with no impact on the NHS, as per event safety guidance from the HSE. Hopefully we won’t need them, but it’s good to know these guys are on hand, just in case.
We are attempting to recreate this iconic display of Special Project Land Rovers at the Gathering and already have examples of over half those show in the photograph, including –
5th Wheel, Moy Elevator, Filmobile, Shorland, MAP Station Wagon, Broom Wade, Emergency Ambulance, Dormobile, SWB & McConnel Sawbench, Recovery Vehicle.

We are excited to announce Colonel John Blashford-Snell CBE will be at the Classic Land Rover Gathering on SATURDAY to talk about the Crossing of the Darien Gap Expedition which he led in 1971/72, using 1 very trusted Land Rover and 2 of the first Range Rovers.
It was probably the most challenging expedition John has led shown in dramatic film footage which he will present in addition to his talks at 12noon and at 4.30pm.
One thing that we have learned about shows over the years is that people tend to judge them on their food and toilets. It’s not unreasonable to want something decent to eat while you’re wandering around an event of any sort so we have booked some tasty treats for the Gathering. Signed up are Sunflower Alfresco Pizza, Drover Coffee Co, Round Corner Brewing and Groovy Foods so whether you want coffee and a burger or pizza and a beer, you’re covered. What’s more, at least three of these food stands use the modern classic that is the Land Rover Defender to transport their food and drinks. They’ll all be in the centre of the action at the Gathering.
